Nikon D40 Woodcut

And here’s how it came out. Somehow the test prints I do in my sketchbook always end up more even and richer than when I use the nice paper. I also tried some test prints on tshirts for me and the huz… we’ll see if the ink doesn’t wash right out in the laundry, it being water soluble and all.

Heading out to shoot some test rolls on the Yashica-D today. All seems to be going well so far, but I really can’t wait to see how it will all turn out. Sure I’ve had some issues with remembering to focus, and hoping my shutter speed is set correctly, but the good thing about living in Southern California is that the Sunny-16 rule is typically in full effect, so that helps.
